Provides information on credit union products and services according to all credit union policies, procedures, and regulations. Responsible for building Member relationships, interviewing and evaluating loan applicants for routine loans, and processing the application. Working closely with Underwriting to analyze the loan applicants’ credit history, risk, and background information. Cross-selling products and services for the credit union and educating the Members on how we can improve their financial wellness.
A Member-facing position, providing the Member with a friendly, professional experience during their business transactions with Towpath. Responsible for greeting the Members, either in person or on the phone, with a friendly, warm tone and following guidelines to verify Member identity. The Teller will assess the needs of the Member and complete the transaction, seeking guidance from the Lead Teller when needed on complex transactions. The Teller understands all the products and services Towpath provides to our Members and informs our Members of products that would be applicable. The Teller will own the Member transaction from the beginning and see that all the needs are met before ending the interaction.
